hAPPyMamma is a mobile application designed to support women throughout the childbirth journey, promoted by the Tuscany Region. Its aim is to facilitate access to and enhance the use of services related to pregnancy, childbirth, and the first year of a child's life. Developed by the Laboratory for Management and Health at the Sant'Anna School of Pisa, this app was created in collaboration with regional and organizational representatives involved in childbirth pathways and digital health.

The application allows for the personalized integration of the pregnancy booklet and vaccination calendar within the app’s agenda, featuring reminder mechanisms to assist users. Information provided is validated by professionals, targeting the promotion of health for both mothers and children, with multilingual support available.

hAPPyMamma also offers guidance on consultative and hospital services related to childbirth pathways, utilizing a georeferencing system to help navigate available options. It presents a digital version of the pregnancy booklet, incorporating dematerialized prescriptions for services outlined in the regional protocol for physiological pregnancies.

Additionally, users can book visits and examinations as indicated in their booklet through the new regional CUP 2.0 booking system directly from the app. Access to health records and laboratory reports is facilitated through integration with the Smart SST app.

Moreover, the application allows users to evaluate their experience with the care received during their childbirth journey, contributing to ongoing enhancements in the regional healthcare system.
